Surrogacy Program

1. Send us an enquiry via email with your medical records already available with you.
   
   
   
2. Our specialists will review your history and records and revert to you at the earliest with the various options that could be available, and then according to your individual requirement we co ordinate with the clinic, surrogates, egg donors and other specialties.
   
   
   
3. Once the decision to proceed is made, then we get in touch with our legal advisor and make sure that the required paperwork is complete.
   In the meanwhile, we will advertise for a surrogate for you, screen the candidates and allocate the appropriate one for your embryo transfer.
   
   
4. This process requires a minimum deposit prior to initiation, which you can simply wire to our account.
   
   
   
5. Once your dates of travel are decided, the clinic will synchronize your / egg donor’s (ED) cycle with that of the surrogate.
   
   
   
6. You may start the process of ovarian stimulation back home, if you have access to the injections and arrive on the 6th day of the period.
   
   
7. However, if accessing the injections is a problem, you will need to reach Mumbai on the 1st or 2nd day of the period.
   
   
   
8. Monitoring of the stimulation with ultrasonography and blood levels, giving injections, oocyte retrieval, and embryo transfer are done at the center itself.
   
   
   
9. The pregnancy test is done 14 days post embryo transfer. We will send you a copy of the results via email.
   
   
   
10. Once the pregnancy is successful, the IVF clinic will house the surrogate in an apartment making sure she stays in a neat and clean environment which has a helper available too.
    

Screening of the Surrogate

Looking for the ideal surrogate for a couple is a task of great responsibility, one that we take very seriously. At our center, we get to know our surrogates very well before the actual transfer takes place.

Since a surrogate pregnancy can involve medical as well as social issues, a great deal of effort goes into ensuring an appropriate surrogate for a couple.

Our surrogates are between the age of 21 and 35 years and undergo screening for medical problems such as anaemia, diabetes, thyroid disorders, infectious diseases (HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis), etc

The process of screening starts as soon as you give us a confirmation and requires 4 to 6 weeks. We spend the cycle prior to the actual transfer in assessing the lining of the uterus. This is to prevent any surprises during the actual transfer

Egg Donor (ED)

Finding the correct donor can be an ordeal. At our center, we can make this process easier for you. We try our best to match the ED with the characteristics suggested by you. The following are the pre-requisites you need to provide us with : Age limit of ED Colour of skin Colour of hair Height Weight any specific appearance (such as oriental, Caucasian, etc) Education Religion Any other specifications

At our center, the Egg donors undergo all the screening tests as suggested by the ART regulation (Bill and Rules) Draft 2008. This includes an infectious disease screen and ruling out genetic conditions like Thalassemia and Sickle cell.
